I am so excited for this fun couple's wedding next weekend. We recently spent the evening getting to know each other a little better and snapped a few shots of the 2 of them together to display at the wedding.
Michelle and I went to high school together so naturally I was thrilled when asked to photograph her wedding. We had a little bit of a rough start during their session...weather, location... but we are able to get some great shots and had some great laughs along the way. I can't wait to witness these two say "I DO!" in just a few short weeks.
Whenever I meet a couple for the first time it always makes me nervous. It is such a huge deal for couples to entrust me with capturing and preserving the memories of their wedding day. What if our personalities clash.? What if I'm not what they are expecting? I knew within moments of meeting this awesome couple, I was going to love working with them! We laughed and joked throughout their whole engagement session. It is so important for a couple to be able to laugh with each other and laugh a little at each other too. I am so excited for Kim and Rob's wedding this summer.
This beautiful bride-to-be has traveled the world working for Disney on Ice so it only seemed fitting when she told me she wanted an ice skating theme for their engagement session. I must admit I was a little nervous. Anyone who knows me knows I can barely walk without tripping let alone stand or skate on ice. I'm not a huge fan of the cold either. I did venture out on to the ice in my boots for a few shots but then found comfort back on solid ground on the slide lines. Jon & Allison's session was a blast. They were laughing and having fun and soon I forgot about the cold. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their session. I am so excited for their September wedding.
